Like all families we were a little apprehensive about traveling to Disney and finding food for the kids to eat.
The first thing I did was to find out who to contact at Disney.

Disney Dining Reservation Center at 407-WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463† to speak with a Cast Member.
I called only 1/2 of a week before going, and they responded to me within 24 hours.
They then sent me a form to fill out. If I was going to be making a reservation at any of the restaurants they would forward the form to the chef so he/she would be advised.
We made 1 reservation in Disney at Cinderella's Table and had the form sent to them. When we got to the Lunch the Chef came right to our table and told us exactly what he could help us with. Then HE delivered the food himself to all at the table even though only 2 of us were special diets. Go online to Disney.com to find their reservation center.

All of our Walt Disney World restaurant teams are trained to handle dietary requests. At our restaurants that offer buffets, please request to speak with a chef upon arrival. They will be happy to walk you around the buffet and show you items that will be safe. After deciding your options, the meal will be prepared separately in the kitchen in a safe place to avoid cross contact.
We would be happy to notify the appropriate restaurant Chefs and Managers of your upcoming visit. It is necessary to complete the form in its entirety for us to best assist you. Should you need to make dining reservations, please call 407-WDW-DINE.
Please complete and return the "Guest Allergy - Dietary Request Form " by email to [firstname.lastname@example.org] or fax to 407-560-2992. Be sure to list the restaurant names, reservation number(s) and dates where you plan to dine. This way we can alert all the various restaurant Chefs and Managers of your upcoming visit and there would be no need for you to contact the individual restaurants directly.
All our chefs in our Theme Parks and Resorts are trained to handle allergies and take every precaution against any cross contact. Due to the large volume of meals we serve, vendors and suppliers occasionally swap out product. Therefore menu items and preparation is often updated. We stress that you ask to speak to a Chef or Manager when you arrive at each location. They will be happy to assist with your selection and provide product labels and ingredients for menu items.
The chefs and managers, at our Quick Service and Resort locations, are happy to discuss and attempt to accommodate all dietary requests. Below is a list of quick service locations that will be able to accommodate your dietary requests.

We had great tasty food and the kids were never hungry.
I did bring my morning meals so we would be full before going to the parks.
At Disney you can also carry in food and water so I had snacks for the kids through out the day which was also helpful
So Plan ahead and have fun!
